1. Unity Park NOW Open

    Who needs a ribbon cutting when you can open a park with a splash? Nearly 1,000 people attended the Grand Opening of Unity Park, with the Mayor, current and former members of City Council and the president of Greenville Water turning the ceremonial wheel to activate the splash pad jets. The park symbolizes City Council priorities of recreation, open space, sustainability, neighborhoods, affordable housing, mobility, economic development and public safety.
