[ARCHIVED] Arrest: Bank Robbery, United Community Bank

On 06-29-2016 at approximately 2:05 Officers responded to a Bank Robbery
just occurred at United Community Bank, 470 Haywood Rd. A tall white male wearing khaki pants, pale green polo shirt and a khaki ball cap handed a note to the teller demanding money. After obtaining the money the subject fled from the scene.

The Greenville Police Department were contacted by several callers in regards to the identity of the subject. A confidential caller informed detectives of the identity of the subject and advised that the accused’s father was trying to convince his son to turn himself in. Detectives contacted the accused’s father and confirmed his son, Nicholas Clay Gregory as the person who robbed the United Community Bank on 06-29-2016.

Nicholas Clay Gregory turned himself in at the Law Enforcement Center with no incident. Enclosed is the mugshot of Mr. Gregory and an image of the warrant.
