[ARCHIVED] Prostitution Operation Results in 43 Arrests

On November 16th-17th, Greenville Police conducted a prostitution enforcement operation with assistance from SLED and Simpsonville Police Department. The online operation in our jurisdiction targeted both prostitutes and johns alike.

As a result of the operation, undercover detectives charged 43 persons with prostitution and drug related offenses. In addition, detectives identified one person who may be a victim of human sex trafficking. GPD is coordinating that continuing investigation with Homeland Security Investigations located in Greenville.

Members of the public suspecting drug or prostitution activity in their neighborhoods are urged to report it anonymously through Greenville Crime Stoppers at 864-232-7463, or directly to the Greenville PD Vice & Narcotics office at 864-467-5313.
