Library Events

Who Knew?!

If you haven't visited the library lately, you'll be surprised at the variety of free classes and resources they offer (all events below are at the Hughes Main Library downtown):

  • 9/24 - Code Club - 6:30 to 8 p.m. - This free training can lead to a career in coding.
  • 9/26 - Textile Heritage Festival - 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. - learn about the mills and mill villages that shaped Greenville - photos, music, and more.
  • The library hosts local historic photos on its site, so check out what they have for your neighborhood. And if you happen to have old photos, they'll scan and post them for you, too!
  • From gardening and hair care, from genealogy and resume writing, the library has a class for that!
