Submitting An Event to the Community Calendar


All submissions will be reviewed before posting to the city's Community Calendar. The city has the discretion to determine which public events will be included in the calendar. The events should provide entertainment, food or other attractions to a diverse population, and promote the economic benefits of tourism or enhance the quality of life of the community. All events must be open to the general public (for free or cost), located within the City of Greenville and organized for non-profit purposes.

Swamp Rabbit Trail, between Willard and Hudson Streets

Monday, February 8, 2021

Beginning Monday, February 8, the section of the Swamp Rabbit Trail between Willard Street and Hudson Street will be closed as part of the Unity Park construction. A detour along Mayberry Street will be in place through the end of the year. Trail users can park in the new lot on Delano Drive or at Mayberry Field and use the existing sidewalk or the newly striped bike lane along Mayberry Street to reach the trail connections on either end of the closure. Vehicular and pedestrian access to The Commons and the park will continue to be from Nassau Street.
